He’s a hero who never stops serving, and now it’s our turn to give back.

Meet Louie, a retired U.S. Marine and the driving force behind the relocation and revival of American Legion Post 378 in Gulf Breeze. From working closely with the Board of County Commissioners, overseeing every phase of renovations, coordinating with contractors, and rallying volunteers, to managing the finances, Louie has poured his heart into creating a better place for veterans to gather, heal, and thrive.

He never asked for thanks—he just got to work. That’s why the American Legion has nominated Louie for a Vet’s Wish. It’s his chance to finally check something off his bucket list: skydiving with his wife.
