This holiday season, we’ve been touched by the story of a courageous family facing unimaginable challenges. A devoted mother of five children—ranging in age from just 6 weeks old to 13 years old—is navigating a heartbreaking journey.
One of her 4-year-old twin daughters has been diagnosed with leukemia. As treatments begin at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital every Friday, the family is overwhelmed but holding onto hope.
When we asked this incredible mom what her wish would be, her answer was simple and selfless: Christmas for her children. ❤️
We’re reaching out to make this wish come true—and we need your help. Together, we can ensure these children experience the magic of the season despite the hardships they face.

Anna Walk’s at Art of Fashion
Last year, Anna faced the heartbreaking loss of her father. Through our Covenant Kid’s Program, Anna and her family received compassionate support and counseling from our team at Nonie’s Place.
Anna and her father shared a love for the Ice Flyers, and thanks to My Wish, we arranged a special night on the ice with her favorite player. We were also inspired by Anna and her mother’s strength this past April as they gracefully walked the Art of Fashion runway and shared their story.
As Father’s Day approaches, we hold children like Anna in our hearts, remembering those who are grieving the loss of their fathers. If your family is experiencing a loss, please don’t grieve alone.

Jim’s Simple Request
Meet Jim, a 93-year-old retired Air Force veteran and former Air Force Academy instructor. Over the past decade, Jim has faced profound loss, including his wife of 61 years and two sons. Despite these hardships, he has found strength in his faith and the companionship of his beloved dog, Missy.
When his home healthcare social worker asked about his Vet’s Wish, Jim’s simple request was a photo with Missy. We honored his wish with a heartfelt photo shoot, thanks to local photographer Carmen Jones. Jim now has a beautiful photo book to cherish the enduring bond with his loyal, furry companion.
